National Bat Appreciation Day 2024 Theme. Each year on april 17th, international bat appreciation day reminds us of the roles bats play in our daily lives. International bat night is observed by around 30 countries to bring to light the need for preserving this nocturnal species.
Bat appreciation month seeks to commend bats’ contribution to society as well as address their growing extinction. To help their cause and increase awareness on all that bats do for the environment, the bci introduced international bat appreciation day to our calendars.
